Restaurant Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the dining operations at their prestigious 5-star Game Lodge. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest dining experiences, managing restaurant staff, and maintaining high standards of service and food quality in a unique and natural environment.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Micros System Experience required
• 3 years experience in a management position in a restaurant / hotel
• Polite, friendly person with a strong personality that can think on their feet
• Well spoken and presented individual
• Strong leader who can oversee employees
• Grade 12 and computer literate
• Formal hospitality degree/diploma preferable

• Train, motivate, and manage all restaurant staff
• Assist with queries and guest complaints
• Manage the entire service operation of the restaurant
• Create and maintain relationships with guests in the restaurant
• Conduct daily meetings and handovers with staff
• Staff rostering
• Maintain and achieve restaurant targets
• Conduct monthly stock takes
