Revenue Assistant

SUMMARY:
A management company with a collection of Luxury hotels & lodges is looking for a REVENUE ASSISTANT

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in hotel revenue experience
• Hospitality diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a pressured environment
• Willingness to work shifts when required
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Planning and Organisational skills
• Computer Literacy: Opera, Word & Excel (Previously worked on Opera PMS, with Configuration segment preferable)
• Strong guest centric approach
• Must have an eye for detail
• Must be able to work in a team and independently
• Previous experience with revenue reporting and online travel agents’ extranets
• Understands market segmentation and target markets
• Must have knowledge of forecasting and budgeting

• Monitor revenue, identify peak and valley periods
• Maintain competitor analysis, event diary, and promotions
• Report issues promptly, work with managers on room inventory and rate compliance
• Analyse daily reports, suggest rate adjustments
• Assist with rate inquiries, build rates in Opera PMS, and maintain parity
• Handle rebate requests, manage emails and escalations
• Prepare weekly revenue and strategy reports, attend and minute meetings
• Track statistical information, review forecasts, and audit OTAs
• Complete monthly summaries, forecasts, and budget documentation
