Robot Controller

Duties:

- Perform start-up and shutdown of application equipment.
- Perform checks and tests on robots and document accordingly.
- Monitoring and flushing of product during production.
- Visual inspection of parts in the wet control areas.
- Perform production maintenance during production - cleaning of equipment.
- Responsible for production preventative maintenance on machinery and all related equipment.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Document all process parameters and report out of control conditions.
- Complete stoppages timeously and accurately.
- Start-ups and checks at 4am on Monday mornings.
- Responsible for TPM in area.
- Review quality of parts on your shift and implement corrective measures.
- Complete accurate shift handovers and breakdown reports.

Requirements:

- Recognised qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Qualified artisan
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of paint processes and systems
- Knowledge of Durr systems
- Able to work weekend, overtime and holidays
