Ofentse HR Specialists is recruiting for the position of Rock Drill Operator!!
Duties and Responsibilities
•Adhere to health and safety and environmental practices according to standards and procedures
•Responsible for his/her own safety as well as for others according to the Mine’s Health and Safety Act
•Adhere to safety regulations and contribute towards the achievement of set production targets
•Ensure that daily targets are met
•To drill holes in rock for preparation of a safe quality planned blast
•Assist team members with tasks such as support, charging up, early morning examinations and equipping
•Perform all duties related to the position
Requirements
• Grade 10
• Be in possession of a Rock Drill operator’s certificate
• Be able to work shifts
• Have good knowledge of the workings of the mine
• Should good communication skills
• Should be a team player in a highly productive environment
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination.
• 2 years experience
• Competent B
