JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

  • Must have completed or at least completed the 2nd year of a SAICA accredited BCom Accounting Science degree.
  • Must have a passion for figures and want to complete the CA route, as it is a long hard road, but very rewarding once completed
  • The length of Articles is 3 years with a degree and 5 years without a degree.

 

Duties will include but is not limited to:

  • Completing company and individual tax returns
  • Submission of annual return to CIPC
  • Completed the planning, pre-planning engagement and all the working papers to complete the file
  • Completing tax returns for individual, trusts and companies
  • Handles tax queries and disputes with SARS
  • Auditing companies across various industries
  • Preparation of audit work papers
  • Interpreting clients' accounting records in order to compile financial statements (IFRS for SME's)
  • Preparing accounting work of annual financial statements
