R11 000.00 per month busy with Degree (1st year)
R13 500.00 per month busy with Degree (at least 2nd year)
R14 250.00 per month completed Degree
R15 000.00 per month completed Honours Degree

Our client in Century City, Cape Town area is looking for young accounting professionals interested in obtaining the Professional Accounting (SA) designation, through the 3-year article program provided by SAIPA. Our client is a registered accredited training centre and provides training and guidance to become an accountant of the future.

To start Immediately or January 2025

Flexible working hours from 2nd year:
1st year no flexi hours Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 (45min lunch) and Friday 08:00 – 15:00 (30min lunch)
2nd and 3rd year 07:00 – 16:00, 08:00 – 17:00 OR 09:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday and Friday 07:00 – 14:00, 08:00, 15:00 OR 09:00 – 16:00
Our client will pay half of your SAIPA Training fees and will reimburse your SAIPA exam should you pass 1st time

Minimum requirements:

Must be studying towards a B. Com (SAIPA) Accounting Degree (1st, 2nd, 3rd year) / obtaining degree end December 2024 / completed honours degree
Pastel, Sage One, Draftworx experience would be highly beneficial
Must have a very strong academic record
Team player

POSITION INFO:
Duties will include but is not limited to:

Capture transactions in accounting records
Perform reconciliations
Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet
Prepare financial statements
Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
Complete VAT submissions and calculations
Perform general accounting functions
Using Pastel, Sage One and Draftworx
Assist managers with various client matters, including administrative work
Payroll duties
PAYE calculations and submissions
CIPC registrations, queries, and submissions
