SALES ANALYST (FMCG) - CONTRACT POSITION

SALES ANALYST – FMCG (3 Month contract)
Midrand, Gauteng

We are recruiting for a Sales Analyst with FMCG / Retail sector industry experience. This is a 3 month contract role within a large national FMCG company. This is an Employment Equity appointment.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Sales/Commerce/Marketing
• 3-5 Years’ experience as an Analyst (Sales – Retail or FMCG background)
• Proven track record that demonstrates a strong Analytical ability
• High level of proficiency in EXCEL
• Above average level of proficiency in PowerPoint (ability to portray data in PowerPoint)
• Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels.

Knowledge and experience on the following (preferred):

• Acquiring data from primary and/or secondary data sources
• Analysis of data pertaining to performance in the market
• Working with external company to maintain customer base.
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
• Variance flagging to steer decisions
• Preparation of reports based on analysis on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis
• Working alongside teams within the business
