SALES REPRESENTITIVE (STEEL&TUBE) – WORCESTER WESTERN CAPE (4896)

SUMMARY:
Our client a busy steel retailer is looking to employ an experienced person to resell their range of mild steel products to new and existing customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 or more years’ recent working experience as a Sales Representative in the steel industry is essential
• Valid driver’s license (a company vehicle will be provided)
• Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans. 
• Knowledge of the steel and tube retail industry.
• Strong trading and negotiating skills.
• Ability to close a deal.
• A stable work record and have contactable references.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be required to service new and existing customers
• Reach and exceed sales targets
• Quote customers
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Increase market share
• Offer technical advice to Customers
• Follow up on outstanding orders
• Work closely with the sales team
