Salary: R30,000 CTC per month. Group life insurance, medical aid, provident fund and KPI performance bonuses.

My client is seeking a highly skilled SAP Billing Supervisor with extensive experience in the SAP ECC Billing SD module to oversee and optimise our billing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely invoicing, compliance with company policies, and efficient resolution of billing discrepancies. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to manage a team and collaborate with various departments, including finance, sales, and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Billing & Process Management 
- Manage and oversee all billing operations within SAP ECC Billing SD module, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and configure SAP SD billing functions, including pricing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice errors, and pricing issues in a timely manner.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce billing errors.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, tax regulations, and audit requirementsrelated to billing.

Team Leadership & Support 
- Supervise and mentor the billing team, ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to KPIs.
- Provide training and guidance on SAP SD billing processes, best practices, and system updates.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP billing issues and escalate complex problems to IT or SAP consultants as needed.

Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with finance, sales, and customer service teams to streamline order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
- Generate and analyse billing reports, aging reports, and reconciliation statements for management review.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionalities related to billing.

Requirements:

Education & Experience 
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - nice to have but experience would be considered in place of formal education.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ECC Billing SD module, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing billing teams.
- Experience in a high-volume billing environment with at least 5 years at one corporate employer.

Technical Skills & Competencies 
- Strong expertise in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) billing, pricing, and invoicing functions.
- Familiarity with integration between SAP SD, FI (Finance), and MM (Materials Management) modules.
- Understanding of taxation, compliance, and revenue recognition principles within SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools (e.g., SAP BW, Power BI) for billing analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP SD Certification is a plus.
