SUMMARY:
SENIOR HOUSEKEEPERING MANAGER (LIVE-IN)
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced SENIOR HOUSEKEEPERING MANAGER (LIVE-IN) for a well-established, growing concern, position based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field (an advantage).
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Person must be able to speak, read and write English competently.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet) and housekeeping software.
Proven experience (5+ years) in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
Prepare and manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff.
Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, linens, and equipment.
Inspect rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
Ensure adherence to safety and sanitary regulations.
Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
