SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a SHE Officer (HVK).

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: SHE Officer (HVK)
Location: Netherlands

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Degree or diploma in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Experience in SHE management in high-voltage or industrial settings.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• SHE Officer certification or equivalent.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) systems in high-voltage (HV) environments.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train staff on safety procedures and protocols.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to create safety improvement plans.
