SHEP Manager

Requirements:

• Matric with Science and Mathematics.
• SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational Health and Safety training.
• National Diploma Health & Safety Management
• Registered as a Professional Construction Health & Safety Officer under SACPCMP (Advantage)
• Environmental & Quality qualification an (Advantage)
• Management qualification would be desirable.
• Minimum 3 years Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Experience
• Minimum 5 years Chemical Manufacturing Environment.
• Minimum 3 years in a management role
• Minimum 2 years in Process Safety Management (all 3 modules)
• MS Office
• Process Safety Management, ISO auditing, Root Cause Analysis
• Environmental Act (ISO 14001)
• Quality Standard (ISO 9001)

KPAs:

• Leads, develops, and manages the functioning of the management systems within the site production function
• Prepare for and participate in both internal and external audits
• Advice line management of any changes to the standards and incorporates them into daily functioning of the business
• Works in conjunction with line management to address any raw material deviation to ensure smooth operation of the production plants.
• Participates in cost control activities on site that affect the overall profits of the business
• Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
