POSITION INFO:
Qualifications 

• Matric 
• ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 Implementation Certificate 
• SAMTRAC would be advantageous 

• Minimum of 3 years experience gained in the HVAC manufacturing industry (NON NEGIOTABLE) 
• At least 5-8 years relevant experience in the safety, health, quality and environmental management 
• Knowledge of all relevant statutory acts and regulations 
• Understanding and working knowledge of safety, health and environmental legislation in particular the OHS Act and ISO 45001:2018 
• Valid Driver's license and own transport 

• Ensuring that processes needed for the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems are established, implemented and maintained by driving the process approach within the organization.
• Proposing and monitoring the Health and Safety objectives, coordinating the necessary activities to achieve them.
• Develop and manage Health and Safety documentation.
• Informing the Compliance Manager about the OHS system performance.
• Carry out the activities which are delegated by the Compliance Manager
• Assisting and guaranteeing the Health and Safety of all the people in the organization and ensuring compliance.
• Maintain and keep record of all the internal inspections records.
• Identifying the necessary training and raise awareness within the organization.
• Maintaining the training matrix and identify training needs.
• Facilitate morning Toolbox Talks.
• Communicate and implement new developed documented information internally.
• Assist in developing Health and Safety files.
• Assist in managing Health and Safety related incidents, near misses, hazards and best practices.
