SHEQ OFFICER-Atlantis- R21, 000 – R30, 000 per month CTC (pension, risk benefits & medical aid)
Manufacturing Company seeks a SHEQ Officer to coordinate the Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, Legal compliance and related along with the implementation, maintenance and administration of the SHEQ management system at their Factories and Distribution Centre in Atlantis. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the business unit complies with all relevant SHEQ legislation, company policies and procedures.
Minimum requirements:
▪ Matric
▪ Relevant qualifications will advantageous
▪ 4-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
▪ 2 years of direct experience in quality assurance management (QC inspection, customer quality & manufacturing quality) is essential
▪ Valid Driver’s Licence
▪ Willingness to work overtime and long hours as and when required.
You must be able to: ▪ Remain in a standing position for extended periods ▪ work in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to the heat & dust elements.
Key performance activities (inclusive but not limited to):
▪ Implement, maintain and administer the integrated Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System
▪ Lead the drive for continual improvement of these standards throughout the site
▪ Conduct accident investigations when required
▪ Monitor audit findings and facilitate corrective and preventative actions
▪ Conduct and facilitate risk assessments.
Knowledge, skills and competencies:
▪ Sound knowledge and understanding of quality management and auditing principals
▪ Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes

▪ Excellent verbal and written communications skills (Afrikaans and English)
