SUMMARY:
An Office Automation/Telecoms company based in Boksburg - East Rand is currently seeking a Smart Connection Manager to lead and assist in the success of managing a Direct Sales team in the Telecoms Industry – CCTV, Surveillance and Access Control

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To achieve Sales Plan objectives by actively selling products through:
Prospecting new accounts, developing and maintaining customer support, identifying customer requirements for office equipment, matching customer requirements to existing equipment via written proposals, demonstrating equipment, resolving customer problems, ensuring proper installation of equipment, training customers on the proper use of equipment, and performing customer care calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  1. Ability to Manage and control a client base
  2. Ability to Manage and control sales team
  3. Ability to implement Product training – CCTV, Surveillance, Access Control
  4. Ability to Achieve sales target
  5. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the Telecoms industry
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGE AND CONTROL MY CLIENT BASE / CREATE NEW SOLUTIONS FOR CLIENTS / GENERATE NEW BUSINESS / UPGRADE EXISTING BUSINESS, MAJOR ACCOUNTS AND LEADS
  • Documents customer information (e.g., customer’s name and location, type of existing office equipment, customer requirements for new office equipment) on an activity sheet to create a record of all customer prospects.
  • Returns customer telephone calls promptly to answer questions and provide information in order to increase Sales/ Service.
  • Discusses terms of lease or sale of equipment clearly and thoroughly with customer to clarify all costs of ownership to close sales negotiations effectively and professionally.
  • Completes paperwork to place customer order orders for equipment – maintains a sense of urgency and commitment to getting orders to clients.
  • Conducts regular post-sale customer care visits to answer customer questions, solve customer problems, maintain rapport with customers, and identify and additional office equipment needs.
  • Demonstrate the product to customer and show them how all the functions and options of the product works to save them time and money.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Achieving personal sales targets
MANAGE AND CONTROL SALES TEAM, THEIR PERFORMANCES AND MONTHLY SALES FIGURES.  INTERVIEW, EMPLOY AND TRAIN NEW SALES PEOPLE.
  • Plans, organises, and prioritises the following sales activities on a daily basis, intense customer prospection (cold-calling), customer appointments, customer care visits, customer follow-up calls, customer training, demonstrations, and internal meetings.
  • Being a team player (Help to stay Motivated)
  • Taking responsibility for all salespeople achieving turnover and unit targets in the Office automation division.
  • Employing and training of new salespeople on an ongoing basis.
  • Working out ongoing incentives and promoting these incentives to help motivate salespeople on an ongoing basis.
  • Taking responsibility for disciplinary procedures for all salespeople and making sure these procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitoring margins in the office automation division and making sure these margins are maintained.
  • Take responsibility for the Division in the absence of the Sales Director.
  • General day to day running of the Division, reports, canvassing meetings, prospect lists being checked etc.
KEEPING UP TO DATE WITH PRODUCT TRAINING
  • Motivating and product training to the salespeople on a weekly basis internal & external.
  • Achieve sales target
