SMI 14654 - Senior Collections Secretary – Minimum 3 years as Secretary in Collections within a Law Firm, Knowledgeable in full process

Our client is in search of a competent Collections Secretary to join their dynamic team. We are seeking an experienced individual who can operate fully in the collection process with little to no supervision. You will be responsible for providing support to an attorney in the Debt Collection Department from receipt of instruction up to finalization, as well as organizing and maintaining files. You may also be asked to file pleadings with court clerks and help prepare for trials by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as required.

Duties will include:

• Preparing documents i.e. standard court pleadings documents and affidavits and legal correspondence,
• Drafting summons, letters to the sheriff, affidavits, requests for default judgments and warrants.
• Phone debtors and manage court processes for a big corporate client.
