Job Description

You will be part of a team of 6 Duty Managers, 5 Team leaders and a staff compliment of 130. You will be responsible for:

• Beverage – knowledge of wines and beverages
• Basic Stock Control (Food and Beverage)
• Management and Control of OE
• Basic Cost of Sales Food and Beverage
• Restaurant and Bar Management
• Guest Relations
• Keep to budgets for e.g., staffing
• Continuous staff training
• Legislative Compliance OHSA/LRA/BCEA

Qualifications

Matric. Food and Beverage Management Certificate/Diploma an added advantage. Note: Students who have recently completed a diploma in Hospitality Management are welcome to apply

Skills

You must have:

• Knowledge of Kitchen Operations
• Banqueting and Functions experience
• Computer literate (Opera/Micros) and competent in administration skills
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar position (this term is open to negotiation)
