A well established law firm located in Parktown. The firm''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s main area of expertise is Banking Litigation and Foreclosures. This role will report directly to the Head of Foreclosures Department (Senior Associate).
Job Description
Our client, a well established law practice with a busy Foreclosures department, seeks either a 2nd year Candidate Attorney, someone who has perhaps completed roughly a year’s articles and wishes to cede. Ideally seeking someone with basic foreclosures exposure, and a solid understanding of the process and steps involved. Alternatively the client is open to a fairly Junior Attorney with 1 to 2 years of experience in Banking litigation/Foreclosures. Relevant Duties and responsibilities will apply dependent on the role. The firm works with FNB. Any bank panel foreclosures experience is acceptable.
Qualifications
LLB Degree. (Admitted Attorney if applying for the Junior Attorney Vacancy).
Skills
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Not negotiable). Able to read, write and speak Afrikaans. Driven. Able and willing to work in a busy department with high work volumes and quick turnaround times. Excellent communication skills. Strong Drafting and administration skills. A strong interest in Banking Law and Foreclosures.
