Job Description
Our client seeks a strong Litigation Secretary/Legal Secretary who is looking to stay with a firm long-term and has a similarly stable track record. Duties will include Dictaphone typing for the attorneys.
Draft the following documents:
- Summons
- Particulars of Claim;
- Court notices;
- Court pleadings;
- Correspondence letters;
- Warrants;
- Settlement Agreements; and
- Sheriff letters
We seek a stable, competent, reliable, and efficient individual. Highly proficient in English. Good Spelling, typing, grammar, and communication skills. The firm’s main areas of practice are Insurance Litigation matters, as well as commercial litigation and personal matters including family law and notarial and conveyancing work, Magistrate and High Court Litigation experience is preferred in similar and relevant practice areas.
Qualifications
Relevant Qualifications are advantageous.
Skills
Highly Proficient in English. Good Typing, Dictaphone Typing, Spelling, Accuracy, Grammar and Communication skills. Able to manage the Director''s Diary and ensure administration and drafting is handled efficiently. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role required. Experience on Ghost Practice, Opening of files on Ghost practice working knowledge a must-have.
