RedCat Recruitment is urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SOLAR PANEL TECHNICIAN for a well-established national concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
National Certificate – N3 Engineering / Trade Tested Electrician / National Diploma / National N Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Wireman’s License.
MV cable jointing and termination qualification.
ORHVS competency (up to 132kv) and certification / HV switching 22kv and 6.6kv authorised (mandatory).
2yrs+ previous experience in a similar position.
Working experience in the construction, commissioning of utility-scale solar plants an added advantage.
Familiar with task work orders and checklists.
Familiar with the SANS and Eskom electrical standards.
