Salary Clerk / Payroll Clerk - George - Western Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a Salary Clerk / Payroll Clerk to join their team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Prior experience on Pastel Payroll (Sage)
Payroll administration experience in terms of EMP201's, EMP501's, WCC and UIF
Available for assistance over the weekends when necessary
Must have a vehicle and be willing to use it for work, such as delivering or picking up documents etc. (A car allowance is paid for this).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Salaries of various clients. (Use of Pastel Payroll (Sage)).
Keeping all salary records and ledgers.
Keeping up with leave registers. All leave not taken must be corrected annually, as set out in the act.
Submission and reconciliation of EMP201 and EMP501 returns.
Submission and reconciliation of UIF returns.
Negotiations with Bargaining Councils on behalf of the clients when and if necessary.
Completion of UIF forms with resignations / dismissals / retrenchments of clients' staff
Issuance of service certificates
Calculation of the monthly remittances to the Bargaining Councils
Liaison of all work
Keeping up with wills and other important documents
Keeping up with receipt registers.
Collection of post (weekly) at Post Office.
Keeping up with all secretarial information from clients on SecWare
Carry out all orders as given

SALARY:
R10 000 - R15 000 Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Car Allowance (No benefits at this stage)
