Sales Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, complete, and submit tender documents accurately and timeously.

• Assist in generating quotations and following up on customer backorders.

• Coordinate and manage consignment sets, ensuring checklists and stock takes are up to date.

• Purchase stock from local suppliers, including stationery, consumables, and other required items.

• Support the purchasing department by updating purchase orders, tracking order statuses, and communicating updates to stakeholders.

• Process and capture stock received on Sage Evolution.

• Assist with invoicing customers and completing necessary documentation.

• Organize and coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, and attendance registers.

• Arrange catering for office meetings and training events.

• Maintain and update relevant files and archives.

• Assist with stock takes and support the admin and sales teams on special projects as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience.

• Senior Certificate (Matric) is essential.

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).

• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Previous experience in the medical devices industry is advantageous.

• Must be a South African citizen.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Experience with Sage Evolution or similar ERP systems is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
