Sales Administrator

Responsibilities: 

• Grow sales within an existing territory of food service, hospitality & retail accounts via telesales
• Setting up of appointments and calling on clients
• Converting leads to sales
• Arrange promotions and ensure this is properly communicated and actioned
• Managing sales queries
• Assist with customer queries and quotes
• Following up on quotes on a regular basis
• Extensive client liaison and ensure client satisfaction
• Updating the contact information of existing clients
• Liaison with team members to provide assistance with customer service where needed
• Manage reports including activity logs, call sheets on a weekly basis.
• Providing up to date feedback to management
• Oversees and administers the day-to-day activities of the office
• Filing
• Answer the phone and direct the call to the right person or assist
• Solving customer complaints
• Assist warehouse manager by contacting clients regarding expected on deliveries
• Help and assist warehouse manager with general duties when necessary

Requirements:

• Compulsory 3 years’ industry related sales experience (Hospitality& catering)
• Minimum of Grade 12
• Diploma or certificate in the Hospitality industry advantageous
• Previous business to business sales experience preferable
• Knowledge of delivery requirements that retail customers require for validation of invoices and valid proof of delivery types
• Accuracy in writing and communication when liaising with clients. Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Afrikaans & English
• Strong ability to close sales
• Excellent work ethic
• Computer literate – Microsoft outlook, excel and word.
• Omni or Pastel experience an advantage.
• Driver’s licence: Code 8
• Energetic & positive personality with strong communication skills
• Willing to complete a psychometric test
