Extraordinary Travel Company well known for travel in East-Africa is looking for a SALES CO-ORDINATOR

POSITION INFO:
Candidate requirements:

• Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality
• Must have experience and a good understanding of the safari tourism environment
• Experience in and knowledge of East Africa Safari sales advantageous (Kenya & Tanzania)
• Must have experience in working in a sales team environment
• Must have strong customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Must have knowledge of sales and reservations systems
• Must have excellent communication skills, a service delivery mindset and a string customer service focus both internally with colleagues and externally with suppliers
• Must have sound administration and organizational skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Must have the ability to work independently, in a broader team setup and work well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with proven English literacy
• Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy
• Ability to pace oneself and prioritize demand
• Be able to work overtime (if needed) and be willing to work alternative public holidays
• Be able to work closely alongside the Agent Sales Consultant to manage some of the administration and operational tasks for the progress of the sale
