Sales Consultant

Our client based in the Pinetown Durban area, is seeking to employ a suitably qualified Sales Consulted to call on their existing clients, and target new sales in and around the South Coast areas of KZN. This role is best suited for a Sales Person who considers themselves to be more of a Hunter, rather than a Farmer of business. The candidate must have their own vehicle, and must be willing to travel.

KEY DUTIES:

• Reaching company set targets
• Selling of Company Solutions – i.e. Software & Hardware Products / Implementation & Conversion Projects.
• Sourcing new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve company targets
• Handling of Cold Calls
• Achieve Monthly Sales targets
• Reporting sales trends to Branch Manager
• Making appointments to meet new and existing customers
• Minimum of 8 - 10 sales (visits) per day
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Regular follow ups on quotations and closing of deals
• Assist in monitoring that clients’ payments are processed
• Selling to all sectors: Government, Corporate, Dealers, Handling all admin relating to the sales requirement: Emails, Quotes, Serializations, reports etc

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management
• 3-6 years’ experience in the sales environment
