Our client is recruiting for a dynamic and motivated Sales Consultant/Administrator to join their team in the DIY industry. This exciting role combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations while providing expert advice to customers. Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Computer literate (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good people skills
• Fluent in Afrikaans and Engels
• Own transport
• Drivers’ license
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in retail will be an advantage

Duties will include:

Stock:

• Capture Goods received vouchers / Supplier invoices
• Stock control
• New stock orders/Quotes
• Price control

Shop:

• Merchandising and Barcoding
• Display’s

Administration:

• Staff time sheets
• Staff leave
• Staff uniforms
• Email management

Sales and Customer Care:

• Follow up quotations
• Sales counter/POS
• Facebook management
• Customer Service and reception of customers

Remuneration:

R 10 000 - R 15 000 basic, depending on experience
