POSITION INFO:

A highly successful Wholesaler is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Controller to join their Cape Town branch in Montague Gardens. The ideal individual will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a sales administration or sales support role, along with a matric qualification. The Sales Controller will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring that sales processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Administration:
   • Assist the sales team in processing orders, quotes, and invoices.
   • Prepare and maintain sales documentation, contracts, and agreements.
   • Ensure timely and accurate order entry, tracking, and follow-up.
   • Manage customer accounts, updating records and ensuring data accuracy.
   • Manage the online orders and bookings.
   • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., warehouse, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
2. Customer Support:
   • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
   • Provide customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
   • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and escalate complex matters to the relevant parties.
3. Inventory and Stock Control:
   • Work closely with the warehouse team to monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability.
   • Coordinate with the logistics team to manage deliveries and ensure timely customer shipments.
4. General Administration:
   • Maintain and update sales-related records, databases, and filing systems.
   • Assist with the preparation of sales and marketing materials.
   • Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Matric qualification is essential.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Administration, Sales Support, or Sales Controller role.
• Skills:
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM software is an advantage.
