A well-known and established company providing specialty chemicals into the mining industry requires the above to manage, project manage and develop key accounts within the mining and related industries.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a Degree in Metallurgy.
- Previous experience having worked within the Gold Mining industry as a Metallurgist.
- Must have an interest to move into a Sales Engineer role.
- The successful candidate must have excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office is essential
The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Managing and developing accounts within the mining and chemical industry.
- Providing new and existing clients with different product solutions and services while simultaneously seeking out speciality applications and identifying new markets.
- Developing a solid understanding of products, services and systems.
- Monitoring market developments in order to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities.
- Providing technical service for existing customers to maintain excellent customer relationships.
- Training customers on technical aspects and application of products.
- Troubleshooting of products and providing technical guidance.
- Running chemical trials at customers.
- Creating and executing project work plans and services as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements and innovation.
- Managing client expectations and relationships.
