Sales Rep (Construction Industry), Western Cape

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Sales Rep (Construction) for a permanent role based in Saldanha / Vredenburg / Langebaan, Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Effective communication skills eye to eye, telephonically or via e-mail with clients
• Grade 12 with at least 5 years’ experience within the concrete supply industry in a sales role
• Good knowledge of the construction industry essential
• Valid drivers and own reliable transport
• Speak and write Afrikaans & English fluently
• Willing to work overtime when needed
• Computer literacy., good work ethic, clear criminal record, and sober habits
• Must be well presented and confident and have contactable work references
• Willing to take annual leave during building shutdown in Dec/Jan yearly

• Develop and execute sales plans – demonstrate strong business acumen regarding sales and marketing
• Be knowledgeable regarding current and future industry trends
• Adhere to customer service principles and practices
• Report back weekly in the prescribed manner
• Communicate effectively
• Develop customer and consumer relationships – the ability to establish and maintain
• Keep sales administration up to date
• Self-driven and self-discipline to accomplish targets – go getter
