Sales Rep (Food Industry), East London

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Sales Representative for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Grade 12 with a further qualification in related fields such as marketing / sales management advantageous
• 5+ years sales experience in food services, cleaning, or packaging
• Experience in new business development and in meeting clients’ needs
• Knowledge and understanding of the hospitality and packaging industry
• Track record of exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge and understanding of sales techniques and competitors
• Valid drivers and own vehicle – willing to travel extensively within the Eastern Cape
• Must be fluent in English & Afrikaans (advantageous), and have good computer literacy

• Develop and implement sales strategies
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Stay updated on industry trends
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts
• Enhance product knowledge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for customer satisfaction
• Conduct product presentations and demos
• Ensure sales targets are achieved
