Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a motivated FMCG Sales Representative to join their team and drive growth in the FMCG sector.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of FMCG sales experience targeting cash & carry stores, wholesalers, or retailers.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Matric certificate (required); Diploma in Sales or Marketing (advantageous).
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Johannesburg and surrounding areas.

• Identify and engage new cash & carry stores, wholesalers, and independent retailers to grow sales.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular client visits to present products, promotions, and address issues.
• Process orders accurately and follow up on deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist clients with stock management to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide sales reports to management.
• Gather market insights on trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
• Identify opportunities for new product listings and partnerships.
