Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
We are looking for 4 Sales Representatives based in the Roodepoort area Johannesburg.

The Sales Representative position involves building and maintaining customer relations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring excellent customer service to customers. The Sales Representatives will provide essential support to the Sales Manager in growing and expanding the company's footprint in South Africa and Africa. Travel is central to the success of this position.

Responsibilities

• Market Research
  • Review and update sales and marketing plan quarterly
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products and services
  • Work effectively with cross-functional team of supplier and internal resources
  • Stay aware of competitor and industry activity and keep informed of new products and services
  • Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files vital for proper management of sales area
  • Develop sales strategies to meet plan for sales area
• Customer Relationship Management
  • Identify potential customers and plan calls
  • Regularly call and visit existing customers
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Utilise sales materials and resources to promote and market products
  • Actively work to get company registered as a vendor for new customers
  • Increase basket of products and solutions sold to customers
  • Update the CRM platform, ensuring all email communications and details of customer visits are captured, inclusive of actionable insights for management
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives
• Internal and External Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure prompt and quality service to existing and potential clients
  • Collaborate and work closely with General and Project Manager to develop key accounts
  • Collaborate with customers to identify products and solutions best suited to their needs during the opportunity process
  • Collaborate with external customer staff to ensure products and solutions are in line with customer requirements
• Customer Service
  • Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally
  • Follow through on order process and delivery of products and solutions
  • Provide regular feedback and updates on order progress
  • Leverage knowledge of resources to meet customer needs
  • Provide customer updates and feedback regarding order progress
  • Introduce new products, services and solutions to customers
  • Perform delivery of products and solutions to customers as and when needed
