JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical Sales Representative – electrical

Location: Vaal

Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 basic plus R10 000 car Allowance plus benefits and petrol card

Duties

Business Development for electrical products
Develop marketing activities to promote Electrical products
To bring in enquiries, follow-up quotations and successfully negotiate orders as well as maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones
Maintain existing customer base.
Direct selling to customers (cold calling) and generating new sales leads.
Visit assigned customers according to planned calling schedules.
Prepare budgets, estimated potential and planned profitability per customer.
Actively promote sales of the electrical components, to existing customers and researching new market opportunities.
Obtain enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up to conclusion.
Develop leads on the electrical Products.
React to client needs
Prepare and present presentations.
Meet specified sales budget

Requirements

Matric
Diploma in marketing/ or any other relevant qualification
3 years minimum sales experience
Formal electrical qualification – recognised apprenticeship / diploma will be an advantage.
Proven track record of improving sales turnover.
Good level of computer literacy, specifically MS. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
ERP experience is a bonus.
