SUMMARY:
Pinetown - We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales representative to join our client expanding team. Previous experience and knowledge in the steel and aluminum industry essential!

POSITION INFO:
The primary focus of this position is to maintain strong relationships with existing customers, additionally, the role will require the development of new business opportunities,

Key Competencies :

Product Knowledge - A thorough understanding of different types of steel and their applications, as well as an understanding of the production process and quality standards.
Customer service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a professional and friendly demeanor, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Sales skills: Strong negotiation skills, the ability to identify customer needs and offer solutions, and the ability to close sales deals.
Market knowledge: A deep understanding of the steel industry, including market trends, competition, and customer preferences.
Problem-solving: The ability to quickly identify and resolve customer issues and concerns, and to find creative solutions to complex problems.
Time management: The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, while managing multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously.
Organization: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
Adaptability: The ability to work well under pressure, to adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions, and to handle complex and challenging situations effectively.

Requirements:

Minimum Matric
Minimum Two Years experience in the Steel and Aluminum Industry Highly advantageous
Business to Business or Technical Sales Preferred
Strong administrative and computer skills
Drivers License - Non-Negotiable

Remuneration:

Market Related - Negotiable on Experience
