Sales Support Assistant - Exciting Opportunity!

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-established and leading company for a dedicated Sales Support Assistant. Be the first point of contact for new business enquiries and support their dynamic sales team. At least 3 years experience in a sales support or similar role plus intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely quotations to potential clients
Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, or in person
Continuously refresh product knowledge to maintain a strong understanding of company offerings
Use SAP ERP to create quotations, manage sales opportunities, and update the SAP CRM module with relevant activities and opportunity changes
Assist Consultants in scheduling meetings, assessments, and preparing weekly sales reports
Follow up on proposals and quotations through telephonic communication
Conduct telephonic sales, including assisting in closing deals
Organize and arrange customer meetings or assessments using MS Outlook

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) essential
Tertiary qualification is a plus
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales support or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, intermediate to advanced level)
Comfortable with cold calling duties
Strong organisational and teamwork skills
