Sales Support Executive

Job Overview:

A sales support executive performs administrative tasks to support the sales team and help them to gain and keep customers. The sales support specialist will also respond to customer complaints and queries and will ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team
  • Ensure all sales team requests are completed within assigned SLA times
  • Ensure all customer requests are processed within assigned SLA times

 

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Telephonic and email enquiries related to products, services, quotations, orders, delivery, part returns and general account information
  • Quotations
  • Orders
  • Parts arrival and ETA’s
  • Part return and SAPC submissions
  • Daily back-order review and processing
  • Recording sales trends and liaising with account managers to develop sales strategies
  • Conduct investigations to identify and resolve order/inventory problems
  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction
  • Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes
  • Performing data entry tasks on Customer Management Platforms – ensuring that customer data and information is always updated
  • Assist finance division with general account and payment queries
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of product and services and special sales offers to easily provide customers with required information
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales and customer satisfaction
  • Customer complaint handling and resolve
  • Scheduling customer meetings
  • Reporting of activities to manager
  • Ensuring adherence to regulations, and policies

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Industry related experience

Attributes and Experience:

  • Experience in administration and high-volume office work may be advantageous
  • Data Capturing experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch focus
  • Computer literacy, IT skills and typing skills.
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

Computer Literacy:

  • MS Office / 365
  • SAP knowledge will be advantageous
