Sales and Project Engineer

SUMMARY:
My client has an opportunity for a Project Sales Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for using your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on turnkey projects for materials handling systems to technical and non-technical decision makers.

POSITION INFO:

• Grade 12 and a Diploma/Degree in an Engineering or related field.
• Basic Skill in CAD software for creating PFDs.
• Proven experience in proposal engineering or project management within the material handling industry.
• In-depth knowledge of material handling systems
• Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering, procurement, and management, to finalize proposals in a timely manner.
• Work closely with design engineers to understand the technical requirements of material handling system projects.
• Seek input from design engineers to ensure proposed solutions align with technical standards and best practices.
• Create clear and accurate Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) to illustrate the layout and functionality of proposed material handling systems.
• Incorporate feedback from design engineers and clients to refine PFDs as needed.
