The company specialises in tour packages and travel arrangements for various regions in Southern and Eastern Africa. The right candidate will successfully communicate in a sales orientated way with existing or new clients and suppliers.
Please note this position only applies to south africans and permanent residence holders.
Key Performance Areas:
· Handling per country products, tours and excursions for direct sales through website as well as B2B clients for new Central & East Africa Destinations
· Able to do the above for specific target groups like families, active, romantic etc.
· Responsible for converting requests into a product and sending this to local partners
· Responsible for following up with partners and providers to obtain desired product
· Responsible for all communication with clients from first request till finished product
· Responsible for converting quotes into quotation templates and send these to clients
· Following up with clients and converting quotes into bookings
· Making and monitor bookings in country of destination (via our local partners)
· Responsible for updating and maintaining the products in Tourplan
· Responsible for collecting good pictures of the countries what can be used for the web, B2B and marketing activities
· Ensure all quotes are completed by the assigned deadlines
· Additional: writing texts which can be used for the marketing
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Matric with relevant Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ working Sales experience in Tour Operator/ Travel Agency
- Fluent in English (Written and verbal skills) , additional foreign language advantageous
- Demonstrated literacy in MS Office applications and quotes
- Experience with Tour plan (Essential)
- Sound knowledge of Africa
- Proficient organizational skills and an excellent eye for detail
