SUMMARY:
We are recruiting a SCHEME MANAGER for a Retirement home in Rustenburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate must fulfill the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Experience and Knowledge

Proven experience in similar environment
Proven experience in management of senior and service personnel
Proven experience of interpersonal relationships
Above-average communication skills with colleagues, personnel, families and residents
Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Advanced computer skills (MS Excell, Word, Powerpoint)
Knowledge and experience on Pastel will be an added advantage
Great confidentiality skills (to manage confidential matters)
Previous experience or the ability to acquire knowledge of laws and regulations related to Human Resources, Labour and frail care
Knowledge and experience of maintenance as well as implementation and improvements of systems and processes
A positive attitude
Great organising skills and effective time management skills
Respect and sensitivity for all cultures and old age
Love for old age and the grams of our society

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for upholding the Christian beliefs of the Retirement Home
Management of the financial budget (staying within the budget)
Management of all the maintenance
Effective participation in the scheme management operational meetings
Effective management of conflict
Effective management and motivation of the current personnel
Effective management and dealing with the care partners, families, and communities
Creative fundraisers and community development/involvement
