Secure Facility Operator

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organization specializing in information security, seeking a meticulous Secure Facility Operator to join their Product & Engineering Division. This role is pivotal for individuals passionate about secure hardware operations and ensuring compliance within a high-security environment.

POSITION INFO:

The Secure Facility Operator will be responsible for managing secure hardware operations, including the handling, testing, and validation of payment devices. This position requires collaboration with the development team to support hardware testing and conduct compliance-level evaluations, all while adhering to stringent security protocols. The successful candidate will thrive in a controlled environment that demands a security-first mindset and attention to detail
 
Skills & Experience:
Perform secure setup, configuration, and handling of payment terminals and related hardware
Follow strict security procedures for managing sensitive hardware assets and ensure secure processing, tracking, and storage of devices
Maintain detailed inventory logs of hardware movements, ensuring audit readiness
Execute testing procedures on payment terminals to aid the development team and conduct official Level 3 (L3) testing
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing constructive feedback to engineering and security teams
Oversee logistics, including shipping, receiving, and tracking of secure hardware assets, ensuring compliance with operational policies
Maintain documentation and audit logs for all testing and hardware-handling activities while promptly reporting security incidents to management
 
Qualification:
Diploma or relevant technical certification in Information Security, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
Certifications such as PCI PTS, P2PE QSA, or equivalent are a plus
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a security-sensitive operations environment, preferably in payment systems or cryptographic key management
Prior experience with payment terminal operations or troubleshooting is advantageous
