Duties:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for various company and trust accounts.
- Conduct detailed analysis and reporting of production costs.
- Monitor operational expenses to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations to develop cost control measures, including inventory and procurement management.
- Track and reconcile financial transactions related to operational costs.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts tied to operational expenses.
- Provide management with timely and accurate financial reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, especially in agriculture and FMCG sectors.
Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications: Experience:- Completed SAICA / SAIPA Articles (Non-negotiable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Business Central is a plus).
- A passion for agriculture and/or FMCG, with a desire to immerse in industry specifics.
- Knowledge of South African tax regulations and agricultural accounting is advantageous
Skills & Competencies:- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
