JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Android Developer

Brand new and exciting Mobile Development opportunities. Great opportunity to join SA’s leading software development company and to gain international work exposure. As a software engineer at DVT you will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most established developers in the country with the latest technologies.

Minimum qualifications/experience

A minimum of 5+ years' Android Development experience (Java / Kotlin).
Experience within: Clean Coding Principles, SOLID Principles, Object Oriented Design, UML, Design Patterns and Industry Best Practices.
Bachelor of Science (Computer Science or similar – Not Essential).
National Diploma (Computer Science or similar).
Experience working with TDD and BDD highly beneficial.
Experience working in an agile team highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

Developing, maintaining, debugging and testing of software applications
Refactoring source code
Resolving software defects
Using a version control system to manage code changes
Improving and contributing to software architecture
