JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description

We are seeking an experienced technical resource with Microsoft Azure cloud expertise to assist with the strategy, design, deployment, and support of infrastructure projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in both technical SYSPRO ERP and Microsoft Azure cloud deployments for customers. The successful candidate will join our current and expanding team of cloud engineers, enabling the hosting of our SYSPRO ERP customers environments on Microsoft Azure.  

Education

  • Senior Certificate or NQF 4 or equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification in the IT field or relevant
  • Microsoft Azure Architect or higher Certification

Skills and experience

  • Troubleshooting (Conceptual understanding, analysis, debugging, and solution-provision)
  • Customer C level interaction in a pre-sales role
  • Microsoft Azure architecture and deployment
  • Patching and maintenance of Microsoft Windows server environments
  • Team leader and mentor
  • Beneficial - Technical understanding of how the Architecture infrastructure relates to Windows servers.
  • Beneficial - ERP technical knowledge
  • Deploy ERP on Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms for customer-hosted sites.
  • Support hosted client environments
  • Perform maintenance tasks on hosted client cloud environments
  • Monitor and reply to calls logged and contribute to the knowledge base growth
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Drive continuous improvements in the delivery of customer-hosted environments.
