Are you an experienced Draughtsman with a knack for precision and a proven track record in design? An established company in Parow Industria, Cape Town is seeking a Senior Draughtsman to join their team and lead technical design projects to new heights!

About the Role

As a Senior Draughtsman, you will be responsible for managing complex technical drawings, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, review, and manage detailed technical drawings using advanced CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to interpret specifications and deliver designs aligned with project requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior draughtsmen, fostering a collaborative and skilled team.
Manage documentation, revisions, and updates for all technical drawings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Draughting or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in draughting, preferably in engineering, construction, or manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of design principles.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
