POSITION INFO:

Planet Fitness is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and wellness, coupled with a strong creative vision and extensive experience in graphic design. This role requires a highly creative individual who can lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring all visuals align with the Planet Fitness brand and engage our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Leadership:
• Lead the creative direction and execution of design projects, including marketing campaigns, digital and print advertisements, social media content, and in-club materials.
• Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to develop innovative and compelling visual content that enhances the Planet Fitness brand.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Brand Development:
• Maintain and evolve the Planet Fitness visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms and materials.
• Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure cohesive visual communication.
• Digital Design:
• Create engaging digital assets for web, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
• Work with the digital marketing team to optimize designs for user experience and conversion.
• Print Design:
• Design and oversee the production of print materials, including posters, brochures, flyers, and in-club signage.
• Ensure high-quality print production standards are met.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present design concepts and receive feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience in both digital and print design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.
• Experience with video editing software and motion graphics is a plus.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
