A Senior HR Practitioner (Generalist) needed to provide support to the Head of HR by operationalizing the HR strategy, ensuring delivery, implementation and timeous execution of HR initiatives.

• Support Head of HR with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
• Support managers with implementation of HR procedures including performance and probation management, grievances & disciplinary procedures.
• Contribute to the development of people processes, systems and procedures as undertaken by the HR team.
• Contribute towards formulation and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies.
• Initiating action, taking prompt action to accomplish goals and objectives and proactive in proposing action plans and improvements.
• Provide training on HR systems and procedures to managers and staff as required.
• Co-ordination of Learning and Development initiatives with accurate record keeping and reporting.
• Compile annual EE and Skills Development reports.
• Contribute to BEE by assisting with strategy implementation and keeping accurate records of required information for audit purposes.
• Co-ordinate OHS requirements and ensure compliance.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the team.
• • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist in a medium sized company.
  • Knowledge of the employee lifecycle and management processes required.
  • Job profiling / job grading and salary benchmarking.
  • A thorough understanding of labour legislation (BCEA, LRA) 
  • IR experience needed
