POSITION INFO:

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

Providing and maintaining ICT based solutions to meet user’s hardware, software and

network requirements as well as coordinating ICT support and service delivery on a designated

campus.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

To coordinate the work of a team of ICT technical staff – including Laboratory technicians and ICT technical staff
To render PC software, hardware and network support.
To render PC software, hardware and network support in student computer laboratories.
To arrange warranty/repairs with vendors
Provide advisory services to staff and students.
Participate in planning and implementing transversal ICT solutions.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Possess good knowledge of current trends in Information Technology.
Possess strong IT Technical skills and administration skills.
Possess good problem-solving skills.
Possess a good knowledge of computer software and hardware, as well as a good working
knowledge of network infrastructure and server environments.
Be capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Capable of functioning in teams
A working and up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft products
Knowledge of Service Level Agreements and adhering to strict timelines
Possess good leadership qualities

REQUIREMENTS

M + 3 (In Information Technology or Computer Science) Required
3 - 5 years in similar working environment.
