SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Legal Bookkeeper for a permanent vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
  • Grade 12 with 5+ years legal bookkeeping experience including SARS submissions
  • Fluency in English and Afrikaans required
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a very busy environment
 
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
 
  • Business and trust accounts reconciliations
  • Investment account reconciliations
  • Petty cash control & reconciliation
  • Insurance control
  • Payroll duties including SARS submissions
  • Workman’s Compensation
  • Liaising with SARS regarding queries / issues
  • Liaising with auditors regarding audits, SARS, Directors Tax Returns, CIPC etc
  • Fixed Asset Register maintenance
  • Vat returns
 
Salary:  R25 000.00 – R28 000.00 per month
