SUMMARY:
We are partnering with our client to find a self-driven and experienced Senior Manager for their Student Accommodation division. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the student accommodation asset class, including research, reporting, student life programs, opportunity sourcing, design and development, and deal-making skills. The ideal candidate will manage development projects from start to finish and excel in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate new student accommodation opportunities in South Africa and Africa.
Conduct due diligence, manage development teams, and ensure projects meet agreements.
Oversee budgeting, research, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide input on student life programs and track performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Relevant graduate degree required; postgraduate qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years in the property/building industry.
Proven experience in business development, deal-making, and team management.
Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and project management skills.
