Senior Masterdata Clerk

SUMMARY:
A multinational conglomerate seeks to employ a Senior Supplier and Customer Masterdata Clerk to join their dynamic team and be an integral player in setting up data for the finance shared service. This role will be based in Century City, Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be the subject matter for transactional masterdata, ensuring accuracy, controls and policies are adhered to.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for creation and maintenance of masterdata, including customer and supplier set up and changes, administering bank portal access and independent bank verification
• Working closely with the AP and AR teams regarding suppliers / customers on hold
• Ensuring that all business SLAs are adhered to
• Performing control checks
• Management of junior masterdata clerks

• Completed Matric (Grade 12)

• 4 to 5 years' experience in a financial administration role required
• Supervisory / mentoring experience essential
• Shared Services Centre experience highly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of multi-currency transactions
• Proficient in MS packages
• Deadline driven
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Team player
